1. TITLE OF THE BOOK
العربية بين يديك
Arabic (language) between your hands
ال = the
sometimes it is pronounced totally like al-arabiyyah, but sometimes it is pronounced only with "a" like asy-syamsu (not al-syamsu)
--to be discussed later--
َبَيْن = between
ٌيَد = hand (one) , يَدَيْكَ = both of your hands
IMPORTANT:
Book: كِتَابٌ
When ال comes before it, the " ٌ " (dhommatain) at the last letter (ب) should be only " ُ " (dhommah)
OTHER EXAMPLES:
طَالِبٌ = (one) student
طَالِبَانِ = two students
طُلاَبٌ = (more than two) students
So, english is difference with arabic.
In the arabic language, we have three forms:
single form (مُفْرَدٌ)
double form (مُثَنَّى)
plural form (جَمْعٌ)
--> So when it is said "plural" in arabic, it means "3 and more".
We cannot say it is "two and more", because there is "مُثَنَّى" , dual, specially for "2").
2. CHAPTER
